For 3PL Providers and Freight Forwarders
Hybrid AI for 3PLs and Freight Forwarders
You run operations on behalf of many clients. Every client’s shipments, volumes and rates must stay separate, and every client wants to know how you use AI. Ancoravia keeps client data private in your own cloud, uses Claude or GPT only for public research, and gives you the audit trail to prove it.
The Same Five Problems, With a Twist
Multi-client operations face everything a single shipper does, plus obligations to each client.
Shadow AI Touches Client Data
When staff paste a client’s shipment list into a public chatbot, it is not only your risk. It can breach the data terms in that client’s contract.
Pilots Stall at Client Contracts
Contracts often forbid sending client data to third parties, so AI stays on public pages and never reaches the work clients pay for.
Answers Ignore Client Rules
Each client has its own SLAs, routing guides and escalation paths. Generic models apply none of them.
Cost Grows With Every Client You Win
Per-token pricing turns every new client’s volume into a new, unforecastable AI bill.
Clients Audit Your AI
Tenders and audits now ask which AI you use, what it sees and who approves its output. You need evidence, not assurances.
Ancoravia Answers All Five
Private models in your cloud, per-client separation, client-specific rules in the knowledge base, fixed-cost capacity and a full audit trail.
How Client Separation Works
Every request carries the client it belongs to. The policy check and the knowledge base both respect that boundary.
| Layer | What Ancoravia does | What you control |
|---|---|---|
| Policy check | Tags each request with its client and checks for confidential data before any model sees it | Which clients and workflows may use AI at all |
| Knowledge base | Retrieves only that client’s shipments, contracts and rules, plus your own shared SOPs | Which documents are shared and which are client-only |
| Private models | Run in your own cloud account; nothing trains a shared or vendor model | Region, cloud provider and retention |
| Managed models | See public sources only, such as port notices and tariff news | Whether managed AI is allowed per client, or switched off |
| Audit trail | Logs client, sources, route and approver for every request | Exports for client audits and tenders |

3PL and Forwarder Questions
About client separation, audits and opt-outs.
How does Ancoravia keep each client’s data separate?
Each client’s shipments, rates and documents are tagged and filtered at retrieval time, so an answer for one client can only draw on that client’s data and your own procedures. Access follows your roles, and every request logs which sources were used.
Can our clients audit how we use AI?
Yes. Every request, source, route and approval is logged in your own account. We provide documentation you can share in client audits and tenders, describing which tasks use AI, which data stays private and who approves each output.
Can a client ask us not to use AI on their shipments?
Yes. You can exclude a client entirely, or allow only specific workflows for them. The policy check applies those rules before any model sees a request.
Does client data ever reach a managed model?
No. Anything involving client shipments, rates, contracts or customs files stays on private models in your own cloud. Managed models only see public sources such as port notices and tariff news.
